Engine Overheating

When your engine is overheating you will notice usually by an alert going off inside of your vehicle. Your dashboard will normally light up when this occurs or you may just notice by taking a look at the temperature gauge. Smoke and steam may start to escape from under your hood and you might notice a foul odor coming from the engine as well. There are a number of reasons your engine could be overheating. Whether it be a slipped or damaged driving belt or your coolant levels just happen to be too low for your vehicle to function properly, an engine overheating is an issue you can't ignore. Not only will your vehicle not be driveable but you could also cause permanent damage.
